Engine Management
The Navman Wireless solution is complimented with the engine management product, interfaced into the onboard management systems of the truck the EMS.
This enable fleet operators to have increased details online on engine performance, efficiency and key events such as over temperature, oil pressure alerts, over revving and hard breaking.
Private Use Switch
The private switch provides the business operator the option of installing a switch in the vehicles they track, so staff can select to have the trip as a “business” or “private” switch. An option where the vehicle is owned by employee or contractor.
Man Down Devices
Man down devices (as remote or cab mounted devices) can be interfaced to the Navman Wireless solution. Enabling single operator trucks to be managed with increased operator safety The Man down alerts once triggered can be passed through the Navman wireless systems and used to trigger alerts on the AVL screen, send emails and or configured to send SMS to operational staff. Examples of use are Health professionals, security staff, tanker drivers, and service support staff.
Near Roll Over Monitoring
Near roll over monitoring devices and data loggers can be interfaced to the Navman Wireless solution. Enabling the fleet operator to observe and be alerted of near rollover events in near real time.
Tare Weight Measurement Devices
Tare weight and current recording of payload weights can be measured and relayed to the Navman Wireless AVL software. Enabling fleet operator to monitor, compile and reconcile vehicle delivery and location details with actual details of bulk materials weights picked up or delivered. Interfaces to axles load sensors.
Examples are bulk grain and feed lot delivery merchants.
